Islamabad Police Arrest Foreign Woman in Student Drug Case

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has successfully busted a drug-selling network targeting students of educational institutions in Islamabad and Rawalpindi by arresting a Nigerian woman involved in supplying cocaine.

According to an ANF spokesperson, the accused, identified as Wasilat Amusa alias Alaba, was arrested during a targeted operation at a residential flat in Sector H-13 of the federal capital.

During the raid, the authorities recovered 180 grams of cocaine from her possession. The ANF also seized her passport, which was issued in Lagos, Nigeria.

The ANF highlighted that this is not the first time such an incident has been reported. Several Nigerian nationals have already been arrested in similar drug-related cases in recent months, indicating a growing trend of foreign involvement in the illegal drug trade across the twin cities.

The Anti-Narcotics Force reaffirmed its commitment to combating drug smuggling and distribution in Pakistan, particularly in educational institutions.

“We will not tolerate anyone targeting students and youth through illegal drugs,” the ANF spokesperson stated.

Authorities have registered a formal case against the accused and launched a comprehensive investigation to trace the wider drug supply network operating in the federal capital.
