Gold prices in Pakistan surged to an all-time high on February 10, 2025, in line with rising global gold rates. According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 24K gold per tola jumped by Rs. 4,000, reaching Rs. 303,000, while 10 grams rose by Rs. 3,143 to Rs. 259,773. This increase follows a global surge, with spot gold reaching $2,905.98 per ounce. The spike was fueled by economic uncertainty and geopolitical tensions, particularly after U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariff announcement, prompting investors to seek gold as a safe-haven asset.
