Saudi Arabia is set to introduce its first five-star luxury train, Dream of the Desert, in late 2026. A collaboration between Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR), Italian luxury brand Arsenale S.p.A., and the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA), the train will offer exclusive journeys from Riyadh. Spanning 1,300 kilometers along SAR’s Northern Railway, it will stop in Hail and Qurayyat, blending traditional Saudi architecture with modern luxury. With 40 lavish cabins, Dream of the Desert aims to redefine travel in the region.
