BYD, the world’s largest new energy vehicle manufacturer, has started delivering its electric and hybrid vehicles in Pakistan through its local partner, Mega Motor Company. The first batch of deliveries is underway in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, with 100 vehicles expected to be handed over within the first 48 hours. To support its growing presence, Mega Motor Company has established BYD Experience & Care centers in major cities, providing access to the latest new energy vehicle technology and comprehensive after-sales services. Plans are in place to open 15 additional centers across Pakistan by the end of 2025, reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainable mobility. BYD officially entered the Pakistani market in August 2024 and has since collaborated with Mega Motor Company to manufacture, market, and distribute its vehicles. Company officials view this expansion as a significant step toward promoting eco-friendly transportation, positioning Pakistan as an emerging player in the global electric vehicle industry.
