China is ready to invest more in Pakistan’s minerals sector explore what this means for economic growth, resource development, and local job creation.

According to Reuters news agency, China has expressed its willingness to deepen cooperation with Pakistan in agriculture, industry and mining.
This was announced in an official statement issued after a meeting between Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in Tianjin on Wednesday.Wang Yi also reaffirmed China's support for Pakistan's counter-terrorism efforts and expressed confidence that Pakistan will take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of Chinese personnel, projects, and institutions operating in the country.
In June 2025, the Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade launched efforts to attract Chinese money into local mineral processing and increase copper ore exports.
It is worth noting that Pakistan currently exports about $1.2 billion worth of copper to China every year.
