YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, better known as Ducky Bhai, has spoken out about alleged abuse during his detention by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). In a video released Sunday, he claimed he faced both verbal and physical mistreatment while in custody.

Ducky Bhai, who was arrested on August 16 at Lahore Airport over allegations of promoting gambling apps, said the experience left him and his family “under immense stress.” According to reports citing Dawn, he described the pressure as “extreme,” affecting his mental and emotional well-being.

Alongside the allegations of abuse, Ducky Bhai issued a public apology to the nation, ending 100 days of silence. “If my content has had any negative impact, I sincerely apologise to the entire nation,” he said, emphasizing that his intent was always to entertain and bring fresh ideas online.

The FIR against him cited violations under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act and sections of the Pakistan Penal Code, claiming that the apps he promoted defrauded users of millions of rupees. The case sparked debates about accountability for online content creators and the responsibilities of digital influencers in Pakistan.

Despite the controversies, Ducky Bhai vowed to cooperate fully with the court. “Whatever decision the judge in my case makes, I will accept it,” he said, signaling his readiness to face legal consequences while continuing to address his audience directly.

The video is the first public statement from Ducky Bhai since his arrest, blending personal reflection, a formal apology, and claims of mistreatment in custody. His revelations have reignited conversations on the treatment of detainees by Pakistan’s cybercrime authorities, raising questions about human rights standards in high-profile cases.
