The bureau has also raised concerns that the Dubai project could be linked to money laundering, urging the public to exercise caution. In response, Malik Riaz has dismissed the allegations as blackmail and vowed not to succumb to pressure. Riaz, who remains an absconder in the Al-Qadir Trust case, has defended the Dubai project, claiming it will boost Pakistan’s global reputation. Despite NAB’s warnings, Riaz continues to promote the project, leaving the public divided over its legitimacy.
