Lucky Motor, the authorized assembler and distributor of KIA vehicles in Pakistan, is gearing up to launch a range of electric SUVs, headlined by the flagship EV9 model. Muhammad Faisal, CEO of Lucky Motor, announced that the EV9 will be introduced soon, with plans to bring the compact EV3 model to the market in the future.
These electric vehicles (EVs) will be imported as completely built units (CBUs), catering to the growing demand for eco-friendly and high-performance vehicles in Pakistan. This move follows the successful launch of the KIA EV5 in October 2024, which has already gained popularity among buyers, particularly corporate executives and business owners in major cities. The EV5, available in long-range Earth (620 km on a single charge) and short-range Air (480 km) variants, has set the stage for Lucky Motor's ambitious plans to expand Pakistan's electric vehicle market. With the upcoming launch of the EV9 and EV3, Lucky Motor is poised to further strengthen its position in the country's evolving automotive landscape.
