NDMA Continues Relief Work in Flood-Hit Areas of KP
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has stepped up relief operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa floods on PM Shehbaz Sharif’s directives. Relief goods, including tents, blankets, generators, ration bags, and medicines, have been dispatched to Buner and other affected areas.

On the directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has ramped up its support for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government and the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) in ongoing flood relief operations across the province.
The NDMA confirmed that multiple relief consignments have already been dispatched in collaboration with the Pakistan Armed Forces and various welfare organizations to ensure immediate support for the affected families.
Relief Supplies Sent to Buner
On Monday, a large consignment of essential items was sent to Buner district, one of the worst-hit flood-affected regions in KP. The shipment included:

Ration bags with food supplies

Life-saving medicines
All relief goods will be officially handed over to the Deputy Commissioner of Buner for fair distribution among the flood victims.

The NDMA has assured that it is closely monitoring ongoing relief operations to ensure timely assistance reaches the most vulnerable communities. By coordinating with local authorities, armed forces, and humanitarian agencies, the NDMA aims to accelerate rescue, rehabilitation, and support measures for families displaced by floods.
