Sindh Govt Signs MoU with Chinese Investors for Dhabeji SEZ Under CPEC Phase II
On January 18, the Sindh government partnered with Chinese and local investors to develop the Dhabeji Special Economic Zone (DSEZ) under the second phase of CPEC. The ambitious project aims to attract $3 billion in investments and generate over 100,000 jobs, symbolizing a significant leap in Pakistan-China industrial collaboration. Spread across 1,530 acres in Thatta, DSEZ will feature modern infrastructure, tax incentives, and an expatriate-friendly environment, making it a prime destination for local and international businesses. The project, operating under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, strengthens Sindh’s position as a key hub for Chinese companies seeking to expand in South Asia.
