Saudi Arabia has made history by setting a Guinness World Record for the largest Ardah performance, featuring 633 participants performing the Kingdom’s iconic traditional dance. The remarkable event took place during the Founding Day celebrations, organized by the Royal Commission for Riyadh City and the Principality of Riyadh Region from February 20 to 23. Ardah, a proud symbol of Saudi heritage, begins with a poem recital, followed by rhythmic drumming as dancers execute precise, warrior-inspired movements led by a group leader wielding a blade. Drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors, the event highlighted Saudi Arabia’s dedication to preserving and promoting its cultural legacy on the global stage.
