In the first ten days of Ramadan, more than 25 million worshippers and pilgrims visited Masjid al-Haram in Makkah, reflecting the deep spiritual significance of the holy month. The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques confirmed this remarkable figure, highlighting the seamless management of crowds, security, and religious services. Ramadan is a time of intense devotion and worship, and millions of Muslims from around the world travel to Makkah to perform Umrah and engage in prayers at Islam’s holiest site. The authorities have implemented extensive measures to ensure smooth crowd movement, allowing pilgrims to worship in a peaceful and organized environment. With the increasing influx of visitors, the Saudi government has deployed thousands of staff members, including security personnel, medical teams, and volunteers, to assist pilgrims. Special arrangements, such as expanded prayer areas, enhanced sanitation, and advanced crowd control systems, have been put in place to facilitate a safe and comfortable experience.
