A boat with around 65 passengers, including Pakistanis, tragically capsized near Marsa Dela, northwest of Zawiya City in Libya. The Foreign Office confirmed the incident, stating that the Pakistan Embassy in Tripoli has dispatched a team to assist in identifying the victims. This incident adds to a series of recent migrant tragedies. In January, over 40 Pakistanis lost their lives off Mauritania, while more than 80 drowned near Greece in December. Despite government efforts to curb illegal migration, many continue to risk their lives in search of better opportunities.
