The competition, held at Fatima Jinnah Park in Islamabad, saw the host nation dominate, with the senior team securing first place ahead of Sri Lanka (silver) and Bangladesh (bronze). In the junior 8km race, Pakistan once again claimed gold, followed by Sri Lanka and Nepal. The event was attended by dignitaries, including ambassadors and senior diplomats from Sri Lanka, Nepal, and the Maldives, adding to the championship’s significance.
