According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake had a magnitude of 5.1, with its epicenter near the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border. Fortunately, no casualties or property damage have been reported. Earlier, a separate 4.0 magnitude earthquake struck Zhob, Balochistan, with a depth of 22 km and an epicenter 13 km west of the city. Just three days ago, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Azad Kashmir also experienced a 4.8 magnitude quake, adding to growing seismic concerns in the region.
