The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is planning a three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka in January 2026, marking the national team’s final preparation before the ICC T20 World Cup begins in February.

Discussions between the PCB and Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) are in progress, and both boards are expected to finalize the schedule soon. The matches are likely to take place in Colombo and Galle, offering Pakistan valuable practice in spin-friendly conditions.

Why PCB Chose Sri Lanka for Warm-Up Matches

Sri Lanka’s pitches are known for their slower nature and turn, similar to what players will face during the T20 World Cup.
