PIA Restores Eight International Routes in the Last Six Months
PIA Expands Global Connectivity with 8 Restored International Routes
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has successfully resumed eight international routes over the past six months, reconnecting key cities to global destinations. These include flights from Islamabad to Paris, Lahore to Kuwait, and routes linking Faisalabad, Turbat, Quetta, and Gwadar to various international locations.
Notably, the Islamabad-Paris route is back after 4.5 years, operated by a Boeing 777. The Turbat-Sharjah and Turbat-Al Ain routes resumed within months, while flights from Quetta and Faisalabad to Jeddah restarted after over three years. These routes are being operated using ATR and Airbus A320 aircraft.
PIA’s expansion is a strategic effort to strengthen Pakistan’s aviation network, improve travel options for passengers, and enhance international connectivity.
