Although the PCB tried to keep overseas players for the PSL, Mendis is the latest international player to skip the final part of the tournament. Mitchell Owen from Peshawar Zalmi also decided to play in the IPL since both leagues started at the same time.

The Gladiators are ready to handle Mendis’ absence, as Rilee Rossouw and Finn Allen will be back in the team. Haseebullah is expected to replace Kusal Mendis, and Quetta looks prepared to compete for the PSL title.

Kusal Mendis choosing to leave PSL X and join Gujarat Titans in the IPL hurts Quetta Gladiators’ chances but doesn’t end them. With the important part of the tournament coming up, the Gladiators can’t worry about players leaving and must focus on winning their second PSL title
