DigiSkills 3.0 Launches with 300,000 Free Online Training Seats
Pakistan launches DigiSkills 3.0, offering 300,000 free online courses to empower youth with digital and freelance skills nationwide.
Pakistan’s largest digital training program, DigiSkills, has entered its new phase DigiSkills 3.0 with an ambitious plan to train 3 million people in the next few years. The program aims to empower young Pakistanis with digital and freelance skills that can help them earn online and compete globally.
The Ignite National Technology Fund, under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT), announced that registration for Batch-01 is now open. A total of 300,000 seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis meaning once the limit is reached, no additional seats will be offered for this round.
Aiming to Build Pakistan’s Digital Workforce
Officials said DigiSkills 3.0 will build on the success of its earlier versions, which trained millions of students in freelancing, digital marketing, and other essential online skills. The updated version introduces 10 new in-demand courses, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), UI/UX Design, and Mobile App Development, alongside popular existing ones like SEO, WordPress, E-Commerce, and Creative Writing.
By expanding the curriculum, the program seeks to close Pakistan’s digital skill gap and provide opportunities for youth in both urban and rural areas. It is also expected to strengthen the country’s freelance economy a sector that already ranks among the top five in the world for growth.
Free, Flexible, and Nationwide
Enrollment in DigiSkills 3.0 is completely free, and classes will be conducted online, allowing learners from all provinces and regions to participate without geographic barriers. Students can register through the official website www.digiskills.pk and start learning at their own pace once classes begin.
The platform’s user-friendly structure includes video lectures, practical exercises, and online assessments designed to help learners build job-ready skills.
Empowering the Next Generation
Speaking at the launch, officials emphasized that the program represents Pakistan’s commitment to creating a future-ready workforce. “Our goal is to make every young person digitally capable and financially independent,” one MoITT representative said.
DigiSkills has already trained more than 3 million Pakistanis since its inception, many of whom now earn through freelancing platforms such as Fiverr and Upwork. The new phase hopes to add another 3 million skilled professionals to that number.
How to Register
Registration is now live, and applicants are encouraged to sign up quickly before seats run out. Interested individuals can visit digiskills.pk, create a free account, and select their desired courses.
