Pakistan's Exports to Europe Rise to $3.8 Billion in Five Months, Driven by GSP+ Benefits Pakistan's exports to Europe reached $3.8 billion in the first five months of the fiscal year, reflecting an 8.62% growth compared to the same period last year. The European Union remains a vital trading partner, accounting for 28% of Pakistan's exports, primarily textiles and clothing. The Generalized Scheme of Preferences (GSP)+ status has played a crucial role in boosting trade, offering special benefits in exchange for Pakistan's commitment to human rights and governance. Despite the expiration of the GSP framework, the EU extended it for four more years. The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) has been instrumental in driving this export growth by expanding business opportunities across sectors.
