"We are committed to taking and owning Gaza," Trump said, adding that rebuilding efforts may be delegated to regional states under U.S. supervision. He stressed that Hamas would not be allowed to return, describing the region as a "demolition site."
Trump also mentioned he is open to considering Palestinian refugee admissions into the U.S. but would assess requests individually.
